As we are confined to our own four walls, we continue the journey to the World Inside.

And maybe this is the perfect time to create your own writing practice. But although we now have ‘all the time in the world’, many writers now struggle even more with procrastination and find it hard to transform their writing passion into words on the page.

If you play the violin or if you practice yoga, you develop and then follow a specific structure to your sessions. In this workshop, you will develop a personalised writing practice while you write a new story.

Our workshops are intense, high energy, immersive journeys to get into the creative flow and stay focused. You will write a lot and you will write deeper, more authentic and more surprising material that you can use in your own writing sessions. You will always have a starting point.

This is a workshop in three parts, on three consecutive Saturdays.

At the end, by mid-April, you will have a 1,200 word story and the beginnings of your personal writing practice.

And of course, as you know if you’ve done a workshop with us before, you will also write more and more interesting story material in every workshop session than you usually write in a whole week.

For writers of all levels and genres.

Our workshops are highly structured, high energy immersion events that produce excellent writing and transform your writing practice. They have been tested for over 10 years in Asia, Portugal and London. A lot of work goes into creating them.

Unlike other online workshops, they are taught live and in person by Anette Pollner who developed this method. Many successful writers have attended Anette’s workshops and used her methods to accelerate and intensify their writing. See what they say here:

If you want to make regular writing sessions part of your writer’s life, and if you want to discover deeper and more authentic ways of expressing your unique writer’s voice, this workshop will reconnect you to your writing passion. ‘Anette’s workshops take the pain out of writing’, as one participant says.

DONATIONS

We know that many people are struggling financially at this time.

So, if you absolutely can’t afford to pay, please participate in the workshop for free. If you become a bestseller author, maybe you can make a donation later.

If you still have an income, please do consider making a donation now. Writers and workshop leaders are freelancers and as such receive no financial support in the UK at this time.

Suggested donation:

If you are struggling, £5 - £10.

If you value the workshop and can still express this financially, we normally charge £30 per session, but if you commit to doing all three sessions we offer a discount if all three sessions are booked and paid for in advance. So a donation of £15 per session (for each if you book all three) up to £25 per session (for just one session) seems appropriate to us. (Of course you can always give more to support the arts…)

The session lasts for 2 hours, and we will write almost the entire time, to keep the energy of the creative flow. The workshop is a shortened model of a professional writing session which usually takes about 3 - 4 hours. However we have noticed that many people are still following hectic online schedules and it seems more difficult for some writers to stay focused online.

When you write for yourself, it is useful to write for at least 2 hours (or more of course!) in order to get into the creative flow and access deeper and more authentic material.

The three sessions build on each other, but you can also join us just for one or two of them.

Please register by midnight Friday 3 April at the latest, but you would really help us if you register as soon as possible.
